Heal, Connect, Thrive
At ReSoars Counseling, I help individuals, couples, and families understand the patterns that keep them stuck, heal emotional wounds, and build more secure, meaningful relationships. Many clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, grief, trauma, relationship conflict, self-doubt, or life transitions. Others may appear successful on the outside while privately struggling with shame, disconnection, or recurring patterns that limit growth and fulfillment. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive environment where healing, self-discovery, and lasting change can occur.
My approach integrates advanced training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Acceptance and Mindfulness-Informed Therapies. These evidence-based and experiential approaches help clients better understand their emotions, relationships, protective patterns, and life experiences. Therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and practical—combining insight, emotional healing, and skill development to help clients move toward their goals with greater confidence and resilience.
I have a Master of Science in Counseling with emphases in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling; Grief, Trauma, and Crisis; and Acceptance and Mindfulness-Informed Therapies. My work is grounded in attachment theory, family systems, and trauma-informed care. I work with individuals, couples, and families seeking support for relationship challenges, trauma recovery, grief and loss, anxiety, self-esteem concerns, family conflict, and the impact of mood, personality, and substance use disorders within the family system.
In addition to my clinical training, I bring nearly 3 decades of leadership, coaching, and mentoring experience, a 31-year marriage, and personal experience navigating grief, life’s unexpected transitions, and being a loving supporter of someone struggling with mental health challenges and addiction. This combination of professional expertise and lived experience allows me to connect with clients in a genuine and practical way. Clients can expect to develop greater self-awareness, self-compassion, emotional resilience, healthier communication, stronger boundaries, and more secure relationships—creating a life that is increasingly aligned with their values, purpose, and hopes for the future.
You don't have to stay stuck in the same thought, emotional, or relational patterns. Together, we'll identify what's holding you back, strengthen resilience, improve relationships, and help you create a life aligned with your values and purpose.
